Creating Safe Places to Play, and Opportunities for Every Kid to Belong.
We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, giving back through the sport that's given so much to our families and community. Our mission is to create safe, accessible places to play and to open the door for youth in underserved communities to learn, grow, compete, and belong — making a lasting impact on the players and communities we serve.
Julio was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, where soccer was nearly all he knew. He'd walk or jog to the local fields just to play the game he loved — dirt fields, goals with no nets, rough surfaces, and plenty of kids without proper shoes or even a ball of their own. None of that stopped him. Having a ball at his feet was his favorite thing in the world, and that field gave him a place to belong, a place to dream, and a chance to grow. He went on to play professionally in Monterrey, Mexico at just 14, and built a career playing around the world from there.
Julio and Mariah still travel back to Tijuana to visit family, and every trip, they see the same love for the game in a new generation of kids — playing on fields that are now turf, but ripped up, with nonexistent nets, damaged goals, stray dogs roaming, and limited access to basic equipment. The fields work. They aren't safe. These kids deserve better — and that's where Elite Outreach starts.

Work begins as donations come in — timeline depends on how quickly we raise what's needed.
